Resumo: A partir de A Hermenêutica do Sujeito, curso proferido por Michel Foucault, no Collège de France, em 1982. Este ensaio objetiva retomar na obra algumas das questões propostas por Foucault sobre Apologia e Alcebíades tecidas em uma reflexão sobre o conceito de cuidado de si – epiméleia heautoû – enquanto possibilidade para se pensar a constituição do sujeito professor em sua relação ético-política com as noções de verdades que se estabeleceram socialmente sobre a docência.

Abstract: Based on The Hermeneutics of the Subject, a course given by Michel Foucault, at the Collège de France, in 1982. This essay aims to resume in the work some of the questions proposed by Foucault about Apology and Alcibíades woven in a reflection on the concept of self-care – epiméleia heautoû – as a possibility to think about the constitution of the teacher subject in his ethical-political relationship with the notions of truths that have been socially established about teaching.
